The first handkerchief I ever made was for a young gentleman I had a crush on. I stitched his initials and a picture of a beaver on a log. It was so absurd and so cute, and it didn't get me anywhere with the man (he is now very happily married), but I found a love of embroidery. I kept making more and more hankies, and people started asking me to make them hankies as gifts or for themselves. Eventually I was backed up with orders and stitching in all of my spare time.

I am a Mississippian, a Hoosier, a cooking store expert, an indie rock publicist and a caffeine-free Diet Coke addict.
